“When a man loves cats, I am his friend and comrade, without further introduction.”
— Mark Twain
Sawyer, the oldest. Norwegian Forest Cat. Wise, calm, and fiercely loyal. He is my best friend, and he has to sleep next to me every night. Besides me, his favorite thing in the world is treats.
Harvey, 2nd oldest. Tuxedo cat. Affectionate, independent, and a little goofy. He is Sawyer's adopted brother and must be held over your LEFT shoulder. His favorite thing in the world is the occasional backyard trip.
Luke, about 6 years old. Twin #1. Short-haired, chubby tabby. He conquered FIP, and then every meal put in front of him since. He doesn't care much for his sister, but his favorite thing besides food is his buddy Sawyer.
Leia, about 6 years old. Twin #2. Short-haired chubby tabby. She's a picky eater, though you wouldn't tell by looking at her. Confidently independent as the lone female in the pack, she is very affectionate and sleeps better than anyone I know.
Bucky, about 4 years old. Short-haired, skinny tabby. He hitched a ride under a car and into our lives. He's the fastest cat alive and loves to watch TV.
Spanky, approx. 4 years old. Ragdoll mix. Technically, he belongs to our neighborhood, as he's an outdoor cat who comes to us for snacks and refuge. He's a social butterfly, and our block looks out for him.
Clawdia, approx. age 20 when she passed away. She showed up shortly after we moved into our house, and just never left. We took her in and spoiled her like the queen she was for about 6 years. She was my garage confidant, and home security. I think about her every day.
